Temora defeated Barellan 18.14 (122) to 5.5 (35) at Barellan Sports Ground, making Saturday’s match their fifth consecutive win.
“We’re doing the right things regularly,” Macri said.
“We’re moving the ball, moving into to space, making sure we close down the opposition as quickly as possible when they have ball, and maintaining that effort.”
Four players made a solid contribution to Temora’s mammoth effort upfront including Damien Ponting, Jackson Wheeler, Jason Reid and Matthew Wallis, all maneuvering to receive the ball in front of goals inside the 50m arc and scoring at least three goals each.
“It’s not about who gets it, it’s about how you get it, you have a higher chance of scoring from certain positions,” Macri said.
