YES, there are five rounds to go until the final five teams go head to head for the Farrer League premiership however Marrar coach Nic Casey doesn’t see it that way.
Casey has adopted a do or die mentality.
“Our finals started two weeks ago, we need to keep winning to continue through to the end,” Casey said.
The must-win mind-frame seems to be fairing well for Marrar, considering the nail-biting eight point loss to The Rock-Yerong Creek last week, and the dominant victory over Charles Sturt University this week.
Casey is particularly optimistic about the upcoming three weeks as Marrar confronts Barellan, Coleambally and then has a bye to recharge before they play East Wagga-Kooringal and then North Wagga.
