WAGGA United coach Travis Weir has condemned Football Wagga referees for being too rash when handing out red and yellow card infringements.
Key Wagga United player Zac Johnson will sit out on Sunday, suspended for a week following an accumulation of yellow cards over the season.
“The way the cards are handed out, it makes no sense,” Weir said.
“You make one tackle and they’ll give a yellow for it.”
