The jumpers have been created with the help of Wiradjuri artist Darren Whitten and the club is looking to make the change in colours an annual celebration of the strong influence Aboriginal influence through the club.
Southcity’s NAIDOC jumpers also coincide with the club’s fundraising efforts to help Jody and Josh Siegwalt’s trip to Europe.
Josh, an under 16 player for the Bulls, has been selected as part of an Indigenous under 17 rugby league tour to France and Italy in November with father Jody to be the trainer.
A fundraiser will be held at the Thomas Blaymey on Saturday night with signed NRL memorabilia and Aboriginal artwork up for grabs.
