A MAN accused of murdering Wagga noodle shop operator Deng Chi Li will stand trial in Griffith at the end of next month.
Kin Yee Wong, 29, is alleged to have stabbed 51-year-old Mr Deng to death in a Baylis Street shop in September, 2006.
Wong pleaded not guilty to murder when he was arraigned in the NSW Supreme Court in Sydney on Friday. Four weeks have been set aside in the Griffith courthouse for a trial listed to start on August 31. Wong was charged with murder in June last year.
