Man dead in Coolac crash
A MAN has died and a woman is in hospital after a crash on the Hume Highway near Coolac on Monday morning.
The Ford stationwagon the pair were travelling south in left the highway just before the Safe-T-Cam about 1.10am on Monday.
It struck a guard rail before crashing into the camera structure.
The man, 28, was in the passenger seat and was killed as a result of the impact.
The driver, a 30-year-old woman, was treated at the scene and taken to Wagga Base Hospital for treatment.
Police have seized the vehicle to examine it and are continuing their investigations.
