Charles Sturt University teams in the Eastern University Games have had a mixed bag of results on day one.
The men’s and women’s hockey teams performed well with a couple of draws in the women’s tournaments, a 7 to 0 win for the ladies over SUCSG while the men only lost one of their four games.
Tenpin bowlers won two of their six games while the mixed Oztag team lost 19 to 0 to University of Technology Sydney.
The mixed netball teams suffered some devastating losses and so did the basketballers.
The CSU lawn bowls teams won all four of their games.
The men’s touch teams won two games, lost one and drew the other.
The ultimate frisbee teams won their first game of the day but lost the others.
