Griffiths broke his arm in the win over Wagga Tigers last month and underwent surgery the following day.
The Swans have revealed they are unlikely to see the big man again this season.
“I can’t see him being back,” Griffith coach Brandon Mathews said.
To make matters worse, the Swans are likely to miss assistant coach Tom Groves in coming weeks after he sustained a hamstring injury in the win over Narrandera on Saturday.
Josh Hamilton carried a leg injury throughout the contest and is expected to be right for next week’s clash with Turvey Park at Exies Oval.
