THE opening night for the Up2Date Art Exhibition, as they celebrate their tenth year, will be held Friday, July 17 from 6:30pm.
Tickets are $15 at the door and include canapés and a complimentary champagne.
Paintings will remain on exhibition from Saturday, July 18 to Saturday, July 25 from 10am until 3pm (closed Monday) with entry $4 per adult and children over 12 years.
Dementia care
AUTHOR Meredith Sindel is visiting the Coolamon Shire Library next Thursday, July 9 at 11am to talk about her book Caring for Somebody with Dementia.
Tackling the sensitive subject for carers and family members, there is no cost to attend the morning.

Conversation time
A “COMMUNITY Conversation” was held at the Allawah Community Centre on Thursday and attended by a large group of representatives from various community organisations.
A seniors’ guide was on display that features active and social activities available for seniors to enjoy in the shire.

School holiday activities
THIS week the Coolamon Shire Library are hosting a variety of fun holiday acitivites:
- Snowflake Ballerinas, a creative paper garland craft activity, is on Wednesday, July 8, 10.30am to 11.30am. Cost is FREE.
- Boomwhacker Beatz, a fun music session with Amy Gray of Lil Melodies, is on Wednesday, July 8, from 2pm to 3pm, cost is $12.
- Beaded spiders, a craft workshop with local upcycling artist Tanya Menzies, is on Friday, July 10 from 10.30am to 11.30am, cost is $12.
