SQUIRTING tomato sauce into the face of a woman was not enough violence for Daniel Robert Fisher.
He pushed the woman out of a hotel, and as she lay on the ground he punched her in the face several times and called her names.
Then, he went back to her house at Bendick Murrell, vandalised certain property and went to sleep in a car.
When the woman woke him, he punched her again, causing facial injuries that included a cut lip and swelling to the bridge of the nose.
In Wagga Local Court this week, 50-year-old Fisher was given a seven-month suspended jail sentence for assault occasioning actual bodily harm and fined $2000 for recklessly damaging property.
Fischer’s solicitor, Max Staples, said his client was prepared to pay compensation for the damaged property, which included a broken TV remote and dog kennel.
