Students at Sturt Public are dancing their way to Albury for the Riverina Dance Festival.
The senior dance group were selected from auditions held earlier in the year.
The group has been training since the start of the year and also won the Wagga Dance Eisteddfod.
“We are privileged to be able to perform, it is quite a prestigious event,” dance coordinator, Amanda Gooden said.
“The kids are so excited and are looking forward to performing on a bigger stage.”
The group will head to Albury on Friday morning at 7.30 am and will arrive back in Wagga at 11 pm.
“It is an awesome day the kids have so much fun,” Ms Gooden said.
The Riverina Dance Festival is a showcase of the best dance groups from across the Riverina.
Students range from Kindergarten to Year 12 from NSW Government Schools.
There will be 400 dancers from 12 high schools, one central school and 14 primary schools.
Ashmont Public School, Forest Hill Public School and Wagga High School will also be attending the festival.
