Director of Lil’ Melodies, Amy Gray, recognises the importance music can play in a child’s early development and has been named Maestro of Early Childhood Music Education by Kindermusik International.
Lil’ Melodies opened in Wagga three years ago and has grown from 28 students to 170.
Mrs Gray’s recognition was awarded for her teaching excellence, the growth of the business and how she has contributed to the community.
“I was pretty excited, I think I jumped up and down about 30 times,” she said.
“It means that when people look at us as an option, that I’m a top performer with Kindermusik.”
