Like any representative fixture, there is plenty of unknowns about the opposition but Picola will arrive in Wagga ready for a strong challenge from Farrer.
“I don’t know much but I’ve assumed it’s a pretty physical league,” Dodd said.
“Initially in the squad we picked midfielders that fit that area but the way it’s turned out we’ve ended up with a lot of speed.”
Picola League have combined their two competitions to form one representative team in a bid to become stronger and attract more interest.
The state’s leading goalkicker, Ash Saunders, will line-up at full-forward, while the Nicol Clurey, Dan Ellis and Luke Minogue are some of their other better players.
“We’ve probably got a smaller side, we don’t have a lot of height but we have a lot of speed across each line,” Dodd said.
“Being on the bigger ground, hopefully that helps us.”
