KEY Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong recruit James Lawton will play his first game of the season proper on Sunday.
Lawton will make his first official appearance for the Lions in the round four clash with Turvey Park at Ganmain Sportsground.
Lawton missed the first three games of the season due to a suspension he picked up last year when playing for Angaston in the Barossa, Light and Gawler Football Association.
Lawton played in a premiership at GGGM as a 17-year-old and has since spent time at Coburg and Central Districts, among other clubs.
Lawton, a GGGM junior, highlighted his ability with a couple of 10-goal hauls in pre-season games for the Lions.
