Steve Browne, who is Perth-based, said the project was “invaluable" for kids but condemned the lack of consultation between council and sporting clubs.
Mr Browne urged children who participated in the street art workshop to stay positive. “Their efforts were top-notch, but not everyone is going to like your art," he said.
“The lesson is to make the community more involved.”
