TEMORA captain-coach Michael Henderson will miss the next two weeks with an ankle injury.
Henderson picked up the injury in Sunday’s win over Tumbarumba, but scans on Monday revealed the damage was worse than first thought.
Henderson becomes the latest big-name player to drop out of the Group Nine representative team to play Group 20 for the Kelly Cup at Equex Centre on Sunday.
The former NRL front rower will also miss Temora’s vital Group Nine premiership game against Cootamundra at Les Boyd Oval on Saturday.
Henderson has joined Cootamundra co-coach Luke Berkrey on the outer from the Group Nine team, but Berkrey will play for the Bulldogs.
