Amid unconfirmed reports of a racial taunt during a first grade game last weekend, Group Nine has outlined its strong stance on the issue.
Operations manager Peter Ryan said there was no place for racial abuse.
“Any racial abuse allegation will be treated with the seriousness required.
“The Group Nine board will not tolerate it (racial abuse) in Group Nine.
“We all agree that there is no place for racism in sport, and society for that matter.”
