WAGGA dwellers looking to fulfill their afternoon BigMac, will no longer be able to do so in central Wagga, with the McDonald’s Forsyth Street restaurant closing at end of business on Thursday.
The closure comes as a new, 24 hour store is being built in East Wagga.
Franchisee Tony Aichinger said the closure was part of the “overall business plan”.
Central store staff have all been offered jobs in existing McDonld’s store, with some staff transferring to the East Wagga store which will open in late May.
