Teachers and students have been offered counselling and guidance support.
The Department of Education and Training will also bolster staffing levels to assist in the first days back.
The front entrance to the school was markedly transformed over the holidays into a shrine for the slain teacher.
A permanent memorial for Ms Scott is yet to be finalised.
Her funeral will be held later this week in her hometown of Canowindra.
