Heard all about the riot this morning. The fight took place down at the Wazza. All the British troops were called out and Shepheards Hotel was guarded by two hundred troops with fixed bayonets.
Up to when they left there was several Australians shot and some police. All leave has been stopped and L.H. and Infantry have been sent in to picket the town.
