CSU Navy have signalled they will a strong contender for the women’s division one title this season with an impressive 2-0 win over Royals White.

CSU Navy enjoyed the opening round bye and made their first appearance for the year on Sunday, where they were looking to back up their finals appearance from last season.
The addition of Isobel Cowell provided Royals White with the strength through the midfield they have been missing.
With the scores level at half-time, CSU Navy scored two second half goals through Emma Dunbar and Hannah Schulz to score a 2-0 win.
Royals White's Emily Paul said her team is looking forward to a rematch later in the season once they've had more match time together.
Royals Blue scored a 5-1 over CSU Maroon in the other women’s division one game.
The CSU girls came in hard and strong with an aggressive forward line and while Royals struggled last week against Rosellas, hey fielded a stronger team in round two with the return of some of their experienced players.
Both teams chances but Royals were too good.
Meantime in men’s division one, Harlequins proved too strong for Lake Albert 7-1 and a Alex Dean hat trick helped CSU to a 6-1 win over Cavaliers.
With seven new players, Cavaliers are expected to improve.
