More than 30 players from across the state travelled to Wagga for the four-day carnival.
After days of tough competition, Wollongong’s Carol Hayes prevailed over William Strict 7-4 in the singles final.
Graham Innocent and Katrina Strict took out the gold block doubles.
Wagga Crouqet Club secretary Jim Nicholls said the carnival again proved a hit with competitors.
“It was very successful, people enjoyed it,” Nicholls said.
“We know people will come back because they enjoy it and enjoy coming to Wagga.”
The carnival works in well for visitors as it follows a similar event at Young.
Nicholls said the singles final proved a quality contest.
“The final was quite close,” he said.
“It was quite the tussle over some of the hoops.”
Wagga’s Margaret Priest came in third in the doubles with Bernie McAlary.
