You will learn how to write and publish a short story on the ABC Open website. You can also become part of an online writing community. ABC Open’s 500 Words project is an online writing challenge for people living in regional Australia.
Hone in on a strong memory you have of one of your grandparents and use it to tell the story of your relationship.
Ahead of the workshop, you might like to jot down a few key memories of a grandparent, or begin a story draft to share and workshop with the group.
The workshop is free and open to people over 18. To register contact Sonya at abcopen.riverina@abc.net.au or ring 6923 4826.
