MR ABBOTT and the Coalition are always claiming that mankind is not completely responsible for climate change.

I believe he hasn’t got eyes in his head or ears in his head, or a brain between his ears.
The only thing he has got us a bloody big mouth that talks nothing but rubbish.
Of course mankind is responsible for climate change. Ever since industrialization we have consumed massive amounts of fossil fuels, coal, gas, oil and burnt vast amount of wood.
Yes, electrical storms start fires, but only because we have dried the country out so much by clearing the country of most of the trees for farming and grazing. This practice is done in every country all over the world.
Most governments of the world only use government scientists to back up “mankind's only plays a small part in the climate of the world”.
So, in other words, government policy speakers are unable to speak the truth, only the government “truth” , all lies.
I watched the ABC program Australian Story about The Layland Brothers.
They showed Ayers Rock with rainwater absolutely pouring off the rock back in the 70s. I can’t remember that happening since, that just shows everyone how much we have changed the climate of the world.
Stop being an ostrich Mr Abbott and all the politicians of Australia and change the way they allow anyone that use our great country’s land for farming and grazing and help our farmers replant Australia the way it was a million years ago.
And we might be able to change the climate back the way it used to be and make Australia productive like it was 100 or 200 years ago. Act quickly. We are running into the next drought in Australia, I believe.
Brazil is in drought. I can't believe that a country with the Amazon River flowing through it, the largest rainforest in the world, can be suffering from drought.
How could the people of the world let this happen? The governments all deny it. I believe in 20 years we won’t be able to grow any food here in Australia, because it won’t rain enough to grow anything.
Someone please show me that I am wrong. I don’t think any group of scientists would be able to.
They cannot agree on much to do with climate change. Think about what I have written, really think, and prove me wrong.

Do the politicians care about the elderly?
ATTENTION Daryl Maguire and Michael McCormack: don’t the senior citizens and elderly of Wagga and district matter anymore? We are the ones that worked so hard to put Wagga and district on the map. Apparently, we aren’t worth anything.
Take a look at The Daily Advertiser: the print in the classifieds is so fine we are unable to read it, even with a magnifying glass.
How long since either of you read it thoroughly? Maybe only to look at your own photos? Have either of you complained to Fairfax on behalf of the elderly?
I think not. I’m not altogether stupid, I realise the younger generation use email and Facebook instead of printed paper to keep abreast of local, national and world news.
We still are interested in births, deaths and marriages, and agricultural news.
Apparently Fairfax don’t believe we deserve to have print large enough to read.
I am a 71-year-old widowed pensioner and I have voted Liberal all my life.
Well, no more.
I and many others will vote independent this time.
Wake up Mr Maguire and Mr McCormack, represent the elderly for a change.
