TWO Griffith males charged after two people were allegedly shot have had their cases mentioned in court.
Todd Simpson, 20, and a 14-year-old boy who cannot be named because he is under 18 are alleged to have been involved in the wounding of a 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl in Hopbush Crescent on the night of December 16.
Simpson is charged with two counts of discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and with one count of firing a firearm in a public place.
The juvenile is charged with three counts of being an accessory before the fact.
Simpson is in custody and the juvenile is on bail.
The alleged shooting victims were treated in Griffith Base Hospital for minor gunshot wounds to their legs but were not admitted.
Both cases were mentioned in Griffith Local Court on Wednesday and adjourned to March 4.
