A 1965 Mustang pulled Mrs Hall away from her beloved MG's to the dark side.
Now, Mrs Hall, her husband Mick, and their friend Trevor Chapman are sharing their passion for Mustangs with the Riverina, with the local chapter of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia (MOCA) starting on Sunday.
Owners of the imported FastBack G350 for two years, the Halls found the car in Melbourne.
"We were looking for a reliable muscle car that is a good cruising car," Mr Hall said.
"We met a guy in Melbourne who had imported the car from America, it is a tribute G350."
If the Halls' Mustang was an original G350 it would be worth more than $200,000, as it is it is worth about $40,000.
"The Mustang prices are on the rise," Mr Hall said.
The Halls are among the growing number of Riverina residents who are taking an interest in the iconic American muscle car.
Wagga residents may soon see and hear a lot more of the passionate Mustang owners as MOCA plans to hold weekly drives.
Mr Chapman, co-founder of Wagga's MOCA chapter and proud owner of a blue 1966 Mustang, said he often sees Mustang drivers and would encourage them to join.
Mrs Hall said the meeting would provide people with common interests the opportunity to meet and talk about their passions.
"It will be an informative session for owners of Mustangs or those interested in them."
