Making beauty treatments more accessible was the main motivation behind starting The Style Bar.
Owners Belinda Allitt and Alana Higgins started the business in September last year and have had a promising response.
This response has been noticed in the business community with The Style Bar nominated as a finalist in the Startup Superstar category of the Golden Crow Awards.
The pair are behind the scenes owners with backgrounds in communications and retail respectively.
“We thought there was a need for a place where you go and get an appointment easily for your hair, make up , waxing and tan in one location,” Ms Allitt said.
The model behind the business is popular in metropolitan areas and the owners wanted to see it in Wagga.

At The Style Bar customers can get ready for a wedding or event at one location, no running from one appointment to another.
“We deliberately keep appointments open for walk ins,” Ms Allitt said.
Customers who are short on time can just have their eye make up done by a professional or come in with wet hair for a blow dry.
“We try to model the business off things we would want,” Ms Allitt said.
The salon can also be booked out for bridal parties or groups who want to get ready together in style.
A make up night which focuses on how to choose the right colours and runs through how to do make up is also popular and runs regularly.
