For more than 30 years the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber has been recognising the best of the city’s businesses at its annual awards.
In 2017 the chamber is marking the 31st year of the business awards and in honour of the occasion, has reverted to the original name The Golden Crow Awards.
Each year the Golden Crow Awards recognise and reward outstanding businesses in Wagga Wagga, encouraging them to aspire for excellence within the community.
This year there will be 15 award categories, with 11 categories receiving automatic nomination for the NSW Business Chamber regional awards.
The winner of the coveted Thomas Bros Golden Crow Award for business of the year will be selected from all nominations.
This feature is supported by:
While the business may not have won the category they entered, they will have been judged to have demonstrated a broad spectrum of excellence across all or most of the categories.
To be eligible for the major award, a business must have been established or operational for three or more years; demonstrated they have employed several staff over three or more years; enhanced the economy by sourcing goods and services from the Wagga Wagga area; and demonstrate promotion of the Wagga Wagga brand outside of the local government area.
As well as being an important recognition of businesses and services throughout Wagga Wagga, the Golden Crow Awards gala dinner provides a spectacular formal social occasion and networking opportunity.
The Golden Crows Awards gala dinner will be held on Saturday, May 27 from 6.30pm at the RSL Club Wagga. Contact the Commercial Club booking office on (02) 6921 3012 for tickets.
