A NINE-year-old boy has died after rolling a quad bike on a property 35 kilometres from Holbrook.

Emergency services responded to a call made shortly before 4pm yesterday.
When paramedics arrived the boy was being given CPR by a family friend and was in cardiac arrest after suffering significant chest trauma.
A helicopter landed at Mangoplah Football Oval where the young boy’s chest was drained and he was administered with units of blood.
The boy was taken to Wagga Base Hospital and was to be airlifted to a metropolitan hospital, however he passed away at Wagga around 7pm last night.
