Neal Molineaux has been an Apex member since he was about 18, and has made huge contributions to the community in that time.
South Wagga Apex president Tim Sheather said the club could not have chosen a more worthy candidate.
“To do that kind of role and be national president, you’ve got to be the kind of person who puts other people’s needs before your own, and Neal’s always been like that,” Mr Sheather said.
“He’s got a heart of gold but he’s also a hard worker – national president is a pretty big deal, so we’re allvery stoked for him.”
The 20-odd members at South Wagga Apex are hard at work every year to bring the city events like the Gumi raceday and Fisherama.
