The Prescott brothers produced a number of brilliant performances to complete the age champion double in the 14 and 16 years boys divisions.
It was just part of a successful school carnival for Wagga High, where Macarthur House reigned supreme.
Laila Cook and Ethan Blanch were two other notable performers, winning the Wagga High Gift, where the fastest 50m swimmer from each age group face off in a handicap event.
Another highlight was the win by the teachers over the students in the Millennium Cup water polo match.
Wagga High sports coordinator Kelly Lawson said the carnival was a great success.
“It was really good, we had over 800 kids there, it was a massive evening,” she said.
“We had a large number of participants, especially in the junior years, it was one of the largest contingents we’ve had.
“Our seniors really enjoyed themselves, they love dressing up for the fashion parade. The kids were really well behaved.”
Lawson was full of praise for the house captains and the house spirit that was on display. She said another highlight was the participation of their refugee students.
