The Blues are at 3-28 needing another 113 runs for victory at Wagga Cricket Ground on Saturday.
Robinson (five not out) and Brayden Ambler (eight not) resume at the crease as they look to chase down the Bulldogs total of 144 to remain unbeaten.
Robinson is happy with where his team sits after day one.
“We obviously don’t want to any early wickets, but if we bat well we should get the job done pretty comfortably,” Robinson said.
“There is still plenty of batting to come and the wicket was ok last week, the outfield was a little bit slower, but really we are only one good partnership away from the win.”
Robinson was pleased with their bowling effort which was a real team approach.
He took three wickets, Alex Jones two while five other bowlers picked up one each.
“We bowled pretty well last week,” he said.
