The region’s lovers of literature are being given the chance to join a book club.

There are 74 book clubs in the Riverina Regional Library’s coverage area and people wanting to join an existing club – or start their own – now have that opportunity.

The Strays and Waifs evening will be held at the Wagga City Library on Monday, January 22, from 5.30pm.

Over wine and cheese, those wanting to get involved in a club can meet up with other people with the same goal.

“Book clubs are a really wonderful way to meet other people,” Claire Campbell, Wagga City Council’s manager of library services, said.

Each club has a maximum of 10 members. For details, call 6926 9700 or email wcl@wagga.nsw.gov.au
