Police have said unknown perpetrators broke into the Club on Noorrilla Street at around 6.00am this morning.
Access was gained by smashing a window on the side of the building.
They then attempted to gain access to the fridge, which contained cold drinks and an amount of petty cash.
They were unsuccessful in their attempt as the fridge was locked tight.
Inspector Nick Seddon from Griffith Local Area Command urged anyone with information to contact police.
Griffith Police are also urging people to be aware of their surroundings, after a patron at one of Griffith’s licensed premises had her wallet stolen.
The woman was playing the pokies and left her wallet to the side of the machine.
She noticed it’s absence a short time later.
If you have any information about these incidents, please contact Griffith Police Station on 6969 4299, or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
