A speeding Toyota Yaris that attracted police attention near Lithgow has led to charges being laid over a Wagga break-in.

Police stopped the vehicle zipping along at 107km/h in an 80km/h zone on the Great Western Highway at South Bowenfels on Saturday.
A 28-year-old man in the passenger seat was arrested and taken to Lithgow police station and subsequently charged with aggravated break and enter and common assault.
Police allege the incident occurred in Wagga on Christmas Eve and the man was due to face Lithgow Local Court on Sunday.
The driver, a 47-year-old man who failed to produce a licence, was issued a field court attendance notice for drive motor vehicle during disqualification period and breaking the speed limit by more than 20km/h.
He is due to appear at Lithgow Local Court on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
