Finals were played for boys and girls competitions from under 10s right through to under 18s.
In the most senior competition, The Casuals claimed the under 18 boys premiership with an impressive 8-3 win over the South Wagga Warthogs.
The day featured two matches which went to extra time and a host of other close contests.
Wagga Touch Association Chris Dolahenty said it was a successful afternoon of action.
“It was a great day and some very close encounters made it even better,” he said.
“The were mums, dads and grandparents coming along to watch it was really good to see.
“The whole day was really well supported.”
The only minor hurdle of the afternoon was the weather, which the mercury hovering at about 35 degrees.
But Wagga Touch was quick to counter the toasty conditions by implement automatic drinks breaks every 10 minutes.
Also helping matters was all but one side having no shortage of substitutes to work with, allowing teams to rotate their players early and often under the hot summer sun.
The under 10s and under 12s competitions are split in two, with the idea of creating twice as many grand finals for avid young players to participate in.
