Talimalie fronted Young Local Court on Wednesday for a mention in an attempt to have his bail conditions reviewed.
However it was refused.
He will next front court on January 9 for another mention to reply to the brief of evidence.
Talimalie was charged with four counts, recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company, assault and affray, on October 11 after a brawl in Young on October 1.
The Cherrypickers parted ways with Talimalie following the incident.
It was his first season with the club.
