Bensley has been released from Wagga Rural Referral Hospital, with a soft tissue injury to his knee.
He was taken to hospital after his mount Fila Freckle reared and flipped on him in the barriers at the start of race four at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club.
Racing NSW confirmed on Tuesday morning that Bensley had been discharged and hoping his knee will ‘settle’ in the next week.
