Forest Hill’s Zach Gabrielsen pleaded guilty to driving with a high-range PCA in relation to the incident at about 11.30pm on October 6.
The 29-year-old blew 0.159, more than three times over the limit, when he was caught out by a random breath test on Lake Albert Road.
Solicitor John Weir, who represented Gabrielsen, told the court his client was already facing an administrative sanction and was an “otherwise responsible person”.
Magistrate Michael Crompton refused to consider a non-conviction.
Gabrielsen was disqualified from driving for seven months, will be subject to a 12-month good behaviour bond and have a mandatory vehicle interlock fitted for two years.
