The small-scale “Cobb and Co” wagon was built by Batlow man Peter Grewcock and donated to the hospital to be used for a fundraiser.
The coach, which can be pulled along, took Mr Grewcock three months to make.
Mr Grewcock has been using his life-long interest in carpentry to make items for charities for many years.
Among his other recent donations were a covered wagon and a rocking basinette, which went to volunteer groups in Tumut.
Mr Grewcock gets a lot of satisfaction from giving something back to the community.
As a child, Mr Grewcock wanted to become a carpenter, but instead became a printer, and maintained his love of working with wood.
The coach will be filled with toys and displayed in the hospital foyer. Tickets will be priced at $2 each or three for $5 and on sale from reception or hospital volunteers, and drawn on December 18.
Proceeds will go towards the cost of the hospital’s children’s playground.
