Mallan prevailed 4-2 in the best of seven series.
But things did not get off to the best start after losing the first game 68-41.
Mallan then fought back in spectacular fashion, winning the second game 94-36, before also taking out games three, four and six.
Mallan said it was important to not let a poor first game get in his head.
“I generally don’t let things worry me until it’s all over,” he said.
In the B-grade final, Iain Boyton downed Mick Oakman 3-2 in the best of five series.
