The search warrant was executed at the Marshall Street address around 3.30pm on Monday following the theft and torching of a plumber’s ute over the weekend.
Police say the plumber’s ute was a brand new toyota and contained all his tools when it was stolen.
Many of the items that were in the man’s ute were allegedly found at the Marshall Street house, along with Cannabis and other goods which have been seized by police.
“The 18-year-old man is known to Wagga police and has been charged with five offences; three goods in custody, one of possessing a prohibited drug and one charge of possessing a prohibited plant,” Police Inspector Robert Vergano said.
“He has been bailed to appear in court on December 20,” he said.
The arson attack is one of several firefighters had to attend over the weekend.
On Monday night, Glenfield Park 24-year-old Tiegan Morgan awoke to find her car that was parked outside the house on fire.
“They got in somehow and put a match or something to it. My dad managed to put the fire out, but the inside is totally burnt,” Ms Morgan said.
It was the third car torched in as many days with firefighters saying they were deliberately lit.
