The Bears will be made up of players from towns including Tumut, Tumbarumba, Adelong and Gundagai.
AFL Riverina umpire Andrew Jackman has been appointed coach.
The Bears join CSU as teams who are locked in for the new-look competition, which will start this February.
Jackman believes there is strong interest in the competition.
“We’ve had an overwhelming response from girls keen to play,” Jackman said.
“It’s great to be able to promote women’s sport within the region.”
“So far, we have 15 ladies, and are open to any other players who are interested.”
Training will start for the Bears on November 15.
Any girls who are interested are encouraged to contact Kerry Gentle on 0417 241 567.
