All major and minor positions were filled, with the club in a strong financial position and poised to recruit both football and netball coaches for season 2018.
New President Robert Groves is looking for everyone to chip in and share the work load on what is a very important part of the town’s culture.
“We’ve got a new committee, we’re good and sound, and financially we’re sound,” Groves said.
“We’re just in the process of finding and organising a coach. We’ve got a few things in the pipeline.”
Groves said replacing former ruckman Michael Griffiths as coach is the first priority.
Advertising for all coaches, players, sponsors and volunteers is due to hit the media shortly with the club in a buoyant position moving into 2018.
