At the Best Street Studios, artist Kathryn Powderly has created a program to give youngsters the chance to try a range of hand-on art projects.
On Monday, it was mosaic stepping stones and a chance to make cat cushions, while Tuesday had children creating dogs and cats from wood and sculptures from hebel blocks.
Wednesday will offer the chance to make a mini mermaid sea garden and mosaic butterflies, while on Thursday children will have the chance to pick up a paintbrush and try their hand at creating rock painting animals and clay sculpture.
Painting pet portraits will also be the activity for Friday, then creating some Moana-style jewellery.
A full schedule of activities is also planned for the second week of the holidays.
Ms Powderly said the children attending the classes were a blend of previous visitors and newcomers.
