The win handed Pitt and McFadden bragging rights as the second leg of the four-part competition wound down at Wagga Speedway on Saturday night.
The pair pipped fellow NSW competitors Tim Lawrence and Chris Johnstone, who enjoyed a dream run leading up to the final before coming up just short when the big moment arrived.
Queensland racers Dave Grainger and Trevor Gaze took out the dirt track sidecar final.
Despite a power outage which was caused by wild weather and lasted approximately 20 minutes, series organiser Jeff Garnham said he was thrilled with the night.
“I thought it was a good standard of competition of everyone put on a great show,” he said.
