Coming through the bottom pool, TRAC went through the competition undefeated courtesy of a 2-1 win in the final.
TRAC got on the board first, after a deflection off Holly Menzies following a hit by Grace Boulding before Kooringal found the equaliser.
Holly Fordham’s goal 10 minutes from full-time gave last year’s fourth placegetters the lead again and they were able to hold on for the win.
Coach Fiona Foster was impressed.
“I am very happy with the spirit and determination the girls played with, they have been very unlucky with the results in the last two years,” Foster said.
Captain Lucy Menzies, and Michaela Foster, who switched to goalkeeper in the second half and made some outstanding saves, were among TRAC’s best.
Wagga High finished third after a shootout with Mater Dei Catholic College.
