Tolland have appealed the seven-game suspension handed to Andre for an alleged headbutt and the appeal was heard by Football NSW’s Riverina branch on Wednesday night.
Tolland president Maurie Hogan said the club was impressed by the professionalism of the panel and no await their verdict.
“We were extremely impressed by the fairness and professionalism of the panel and we thought we presented a strong case,” Hogan said.
Tolland are unsure when the result of the appeal will be handed down, but said it is more about clearing Andre’s name, than freeing him to play.
