“We need to work together and play as a team, otherwise they’ll run right over the top of us,” he said.
United is fresh off a 3-0 win over Cootamundra and is sitting in third spot, but like the majority of teams in the top-flight women’s competition, has not been able to come close to the Wolves.
They went down to the ladder-leaders 6-0 and 5-0 in their two previous meetings.
Driscoll believes that if his side is going to turn the tables, they will have to do it in the midfield.
“If we can shut them down in the middle of the park, that will go a long way,” he said.
“We need to hold them off the ball and limit their play when they do get the ball.”
In a boost to United’s fortunes, Tolland will be without competition leading goal scorer Christina Grauer-Kompos due to unavailability.
Wolves will also be missing starting centre backs Kelsey Sibley and Rachael Long.
The two sides will face-off at Rawlings Park on Sunday at 11am.
Meanwhile, Junee will be fighting for an appearance in the finals when it faces Leeton at Burns Park. Jaguars sit just two points clear of Henwood Park in fourth spot.
Henwood faces South Wagga at Rawlings Park, while Cootamundra battles Young at O'Connor Park.
