Potter, 59, has been on the run since February, 2010, when he failed to appear in a Melbourne court on conspiracy to murder charges.
There have been unconfirmed sightings in Griffith and Yenda and it is believed he was residing in Griffith earlier this year.
He is described as being Caucasian, 175cm tall, medium to solid build, brown eyes, brown hair and ginger beard.
